Hydro for Hunger Update50% off EasyGro Training Course DVDs
The mission of Hydro for Hunger and the Institute for Simplified Hydroponics (ISH) is to end hunger through hydroponic technology. To support these efforts ISH has created a nine-lesson DVD training course. Profits from the sale of the Easy-Gro Training Course will be used to send additional kits to workers in regions of concern, at little to no cost as well as a full supply of products, donated industry leaders, to start the process of building.
For over two years, footage and photos were compiled from eight of the 16 countries where ISH is currently working including Mexico, Cuba, Peru, Zimbabwe, Colombia, Bolivia, Venezuela and Senegal. 45 evaluators from around the world reviewed early copies of the course. The evaluators consisted of beginners who wished to help their communities and long established experts in the fields of hydroponics and organic gardening. Through the evaluator’s reviews and an additional trip to Peru for supplementary information, the course was perfected.
It will be a valuable tool for teachers, community aid workers and homeowners who want to grow their own food. The thorough education on simplified hydroponics provided in the course includes topics on how to plant, transplant and grow seedlings, control disease and insects and how to mix nutrients to name a few. At the end of the course, the viewer should feel confident enough to build a hydroponic garden.

The Easy-Gro DVD Training Course was introduced at the Maximum Yield San Francisco Indoor Gardening Expo.
It includes nine 21 minute classes and two CD-ROM’s: The first, Hydroponics and Microfarms, contains over 1000 pages of information on hydroponics and microfarming and the second, Simple Hydroponics Recipe Book, includes over 800 recipes for use with simple hydroponics.
